Join me for an unforgettable week sailing through Scoresby Sund, one of the wildest and most remote places on Earth.
We’ll live together aboard a traditional expedition ship, surrounded by enormous icebergs, towering mountains and glaciers. Our days will follow the rhythm of Greenland. We might hike through untouched landscapes, look for wildlife, sail deeper into the fjords or simply sit on deck and take it all in.
For seven days, there will be almost no phone signal or connection to the outside world. It’s a rare chance to slow down, be fully present and share something extraordinary with a unique group of people. This kind of adventure has a way of bringing people together, and many guests leave with friendships that continue long after the trip.
Many guests love photography and filming, so you should feel comfortable around cameras, but you absolutely don’t need to be a photographer to join. Above all, this is about experiencing Greenland together and reaching places very few people ever get to see.

Our adventure begins at Reykjavík Domestic Airport, where we fly together directly to Constable Point in East Greenland. Return flights from Reykjavík are included, so the journey begins from the moment we meet.
After landing, we’ll travel by Zodiac to the ship, our home for the next seven nights. From there, we’ll explore Scoresby Sund by ship, Zodiac and on foot, with guided hikes, remote shore landings, wildlife encounters and a visit to the isolated settlement of Ittoqqortoormiit.
There is no fixed itinerary out here. Each day will be shaped by the weather, wind and sea ice, with the captain and crew choosing the best route and experiences as we go. Everything is optional, so you can join each adventure or enjoy a slower day aboard.
We recommend spending at least one night in Reykjavík before departure and one night after returning, as Arctic weather can occasionally delay flights.
How it works
Life onboard
Life on board is cosy, relaxed and social. We’ll share meals in the saloon, spend time together on deck and wake up each morning surrounded by some of the most incredible landscapes in Greenland.
We’ll stay in shared twin cabins with bunk beds and shared bathrooms. Cabins are compact but comfortable, and all bedding and towels are provided. Breakfast, lunch and dinner will be prepared for us each day, with tea and coffee always available. Dietary requirements can be accommodated when shared in advance.
There will be little or no phone signal during most of the journey, giving us a rare chance to fully disconnect. European sockets are available for charging cameras, phones and other small electronics.
After a day of exploring, you can warm up in the outdoor hot tub or, if you’re feeling brave, take an Arctic swim.
This is an expedition ship, not a luxury cruise. We’ll live closely together, plans may change and everyone becomes part of the group. Come with an open mind, a sense of adventure and a willingness to embrace life at sea.

No, you do not have to be a photographer to join. Many of our guests enjoy taking photos, though, so you should be comfortable being around cameras and people stopping to capture the views along the way.

For most of the trip, we will be completely off grid with no phone signal or internet access. There may be limited mobile coverage near Constable Point and in Ittoqqortoormiit, but you should plan to be offline for the week. The ship carries a satellite phone for emergencies.

Yes, there are shared showers on board. Fresh water is limited, so we ask everyone to keep their showers short.

Scoresby Sound is a sheltered fjord system, so the water is usually calm and it is rare for guests to feel seasick. However, we cross some more exposed areas at the beginning and end of the trip. If you are prone to seasickness, we recommend bringing medication and taking it as a precaution.

Yes, accommodation is in shared twin cabins with bunk beds, so you will have your own bed. We match guests by gender, so you will always share with another person of the same gender. If you are travelling with someone, you can request to share a cabin with them.

East Greenland is home to polar bears, muskoxen, seals, whales, narwhals, Arctic foxes, snow hares and many different seabirds. We will keep watch from the ship and look for wildlife during our shore excursions. Of course, these are wild animals, so sightings cannot be guaranteed.
